What We Do

Two sectors. One rigorous process.

Every engagement is set to one of two sectors at the start: organizations or governments. Praxis then identifies The Why behind the issue and The How to act on it, or where the gap is.

Three practice areas

People Experience ConsultingRedesigning how organizations function by understanding how people actually think, behave, and work: from culture and structure to the systems that shape day-to-day decisions.
Customer Experience ConsultingTransforming customer behavior and loyalty through behavioral insight, not assumptions.
Behavioral Policy DesignMaking public policy work by designing interventions grounded in how people actually behave, not how institutions assume they behave.

How we engage

Four engagements, each building on the last. You can stop after any of them.

  1. 1

    Hypothesis Sprint About 2 weeks

Starting from Diagnose, or Gap Analysis for work still in design, you get ranked hypotheses and a plan to validate them.

    What you get

    • A structured intake, completed together on a call
    • Ranked hypotheses: The Why behind the behavior and The How to act on it, placed on the Praxis Matrix
    • A validation plan: which data to collect and how it will be tested

    When it fits

You can see the problem (low uptake, drop-off, complaints, disengagement) but not yet the cause. Every hypothesis starts unverified, with no confidence rating.

  2. 2

    Validation and intervention design

Where data exists, the leading hypotheses are tested. Interventions are then designed for what holds up.

    What you get

    • Your real data tested with established statistics, the only point where confidence is given
    • Interventions drawn from solutions researchers proposed for that mechanism, labelled by how much evidence stands behind them
    • Nothing proposed for a hypothesis your data does not support

    When it fits

The work is already running and there is data to test. For work still in design, there is no data yet, so interventions are designed to close the gaps found.

  3. 3

    Trial and measurement

The intervention is trialled, ideally against a control group, and the results are measured.

    What you get

    • A trial design with a clear comparison, ideally a control group
    • Measurement over a set period, for example three months
    • A plain answer: did it work, and by how much

    When it fits

An intervention is ready and you want proof before rolling it out more widely. What works moves on to scaling.

  4. 4

    Behavioral Radar Retainer

New cases keep running through Praxis, so emerging problems are caught early.

    What you get

    • New cases diagnosed as they come up
    • An early-warning signal before a problem becomes expensive
    • Continuity: the same method and format every time

    When it fits

You have finished an engagement and want to keep watching how people respond as things change.

Beyond the recommendation

Measured, not assumed

A diagnosis leads into a trial and a measured period, for example three months, so you see whether the intervention worked for you, and by how much. New cases can keep being diagnosed afterwards as an early-warning signal.

Advisory by nature

Like a doctor recommending a treatment rather than performing surgery, we propose; you decide and implement. Every engagement is covered by a written agreement that says so.
